Our company

Epione is a family owned company based in southern Sweden, with strong family and business ties to Greece. Apart from producing our own top quality olive oil and sun-dried raisins, we also build bridges between other producers and the consumer and are always dedicated to bringing the best quality food products to market. Driven by our passion for healthy organic food along with the enjoyment of culinary experiences, we firmly believe that there are no shortcuts to achieving great tasting and nutritious food.

Thus we seek to collaborate with local food producers who share our values and know that the highest quality food can only be attained through smaller scale production, a fair amount of labor and plenty of love for what you do. We are aiming at building long lasting friendly relationships with producers and always strive to support them in their efforts to excel at what they do.

At the same time as we put a lot of trust in our partners — for us seeing, feeling, smelling and not least tasting, is believing. Thus we evaluate new potential products and continually re-evaluate existing ones in order to guarantee the high quality standards signalled by our brand.

Our brand

In ancient Greek mythology the goddess Epione was the mother of all aspects of health. With her name on our product labels we see it as our duty to walk the extra mile in order to provide our customers with the healthiest and most nutritious food items possible to attain. 

As a brand Epione stands for responsibility towards our customers, towards the producers and towards the environment. Like the producers we always strive to excel at what we are doing and never stop looking for ways to deliver more and better for less, to act more responsibly and to become more in tune with nature. Those qualities are what is giving meaning to our brand.

Our passion

At Epione we love quality food and drinks from around the world, but Mediterranean food and especially Greek food have a special place in our hearts. Hence much of our efforts are spent searching for the ultimate food and drink products throughout Greece and establishing contact with producers.
